There have been some significant changes to the shopping center The Americana at Brand in the wake of the pandemic, so I have updated the Los Angeles Shopping Guide: Glendale Galleria & The Americana post to reflect the new information. Check it out.

To Note:

• The Americana has raised the cost of parking. The first hour is no longer free.
• Pacific Theaters has been replaced with AMC 18 Theaters and The Americana has reduced the 4-hour theatre validation to only a 2-hour validation (exceeded by most film lengths, if you purchase concessions, and if you like to get to your seat early).
• Several dining options are no longer available. The new replacement dining options are almost all fried chicken and chicken sandwich places.
• The entire shopping district is just as crowded as ever. There is no notice on their website but in-person signs indicate: Masks are required.

Search and check relevant shopping center’s websites for latest information, of course. Changes can occur.
